Bareuther Bavaria – Mid-Century porcelain jewelry dish with copper lustre – Germany, circa 1955–1965
Elegant decorative porcelain bowl from the mid-20th century, manufactured by Bareuther Bavaria (Germany). The piece has a pronounced mid-century look with a scalloped, flower-shaped rim and a warm copper-colored lustre finish on the inside, which provides a strong visual and light-reflecting effect.
The exterior is finished in white glazed porcelain, which provides a beautiful contrast with the metallic interior. This type of bowl was designed as interior decoration and a tabletop piece, and fits within the typical German design aesthetic of the 1950s–1960s.
Marked underside with factory stamp “Bareuther Bavaria” and model number.
