Stefano Maraner's Il Varco is a 2025 mixed-media work on elderwood with imitation gold leaf, measuring 50.5 x 70.2 x 5 cm, signed by hand and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
"Il Varco" 50.5 x 72.5 x 5 cm, is an artwork created in mixed media / elder wood and imitation gold leaf on wood in 2025 by artist Stefano Maraner (Italy 1965) in 2025.
The gold-leafed portion is concave and reflects light, changing with every shift of the light source, making the work 'alive'.
The artist's works arise from the fusion of painting with techniques of artisanal origin. They combine his thirty years of experience in woodworking with his youthful painterly vocation, refined through artistic studies (Diploma of Applied Art in Decorative Painting in 1984, Trento, Italy).
He has numerous solo and collective exhibitions to his credit, mainly in Trentino-Alto Adige.
The collection of material sourced directly on the territory takes on the symbolic value of its bond with it. A form of exploration and discovery in the wake of those who lived there before and who used its resources responsibly.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and cataloged in the artist's archive. Signed with logo and date on the side and on the back.
It is shipped well-packaged in a wooden box.
