Stefano Maraner presents Nel verde, a 2025 mixed media work on wood with imitation gold leaf, measuring 45×45×5.7 cm, weighing 2.5 kg, signed by hand and in excellent condition, catalogued in the artist's archive and shipped in a wooden box.
Description from the seller
"In the Green" 45x45x5,7 cm, is a work created in mixed media/elderwood and imitation gold leaf on wood by artist Stefano Maraner (Italy 1965) in 2025.
The leaf-gilded part is concave and reflects light, changing with every variation of the light source,
rendering the work alive.
The wooden parts will, over time, undergo a natural slight yellowing, and cracking may occur between the various sections of the material, which do not compromise its stability but create a distinctive texture.
The artist's works arise from a fusion of painting with techniques derived from craft.
They combine his thirty years of experience in woodwork with his painting vocation that began in youth and was refined through artistic studies. The gathering of materials sourced directly from the area carries the symbolic value of his bond with it. A form of exploration and discovery in the tradition of those who lived it before him, and who used its resources responsibly.
Accompanied by authentication and catalogued in the artist's archive. Signed with logo and year on the side and on the back.
It is shipped properly packaged in a wooden box.
