Description from the seller

Pilgrim’s flask of Umbrian manufacture from the 19th century, lenticular (flattened) in shape, used by pilgrims to carry liquids, often hung from a shoulder strap. It could be made from various materials, including ceramic, metal, or glass, and often featured four small perforated side lugs to pass a cord through.
The object in the image: This specific piece is identified as an "orciolo" or pharmaceutical vase, Renaissance-style. It has an oval body with a disk base and two dragon-shaped handles that join the body with a mascaron. These orcioli were often used for pharmaceutical purposes or as decorative dining ware displayed on noble sideboards. Overall excellent condition as shown in the photo. Shipped via express courier with professional packaging. Additional charges for customs duties may apply where required by law.
