The manufactory for the production of Ceramiche Artistiche Rometti was founded in Umbertide - Perugia - in 1927 by Settimio and his nephew Aspromonte.
The initial designation of these objects is Ars Umbra, by which the very first works produced between 1927 and 1928 are marked.
The artistic and technical direction is entrusted to Aspromonte, and the production consists mainly of props and tableware decorated in the Liberty Style.
From 1928 onward, all the work passed into the hands of Aspromonte's cousin, Dante Baldelli, with the collaboration of Corrado Cagli—lasting from 1928 to 1930.
Splendid Rometti coffee service for six.
It comes with a coffee pot, a milk jug, and a sugar bowl.
The only thing missing is the teaspoon from the sugar bowl.
The service comes with its original packaging.
