Description from the seller

Heavy four-piece sterling-silver service with a railing tray
Warm welcome!
You are looking at a
four-piece 925 sterling silver service on a rail tray, in very good condition.
The set still comes from the inventory of my former online business dealing in English silverware.
The tea and coffee service was manufactured by the renowned English silversmith "Roberts & Belk" and stamped in 1925 at the Sheffield Assay Office. The tray comes from the silversmith "Henry Atkins", and has an inner diameter of 26.5 cm. It was stamped at the Sheffield Assay Office in 1945. The service is of very high quality workmanship, as one would expect from this silversmith. It features ebony handles, and lid knobs modeled after a pineapple—the then symbol of wealth. The coffee pot still has a cloth filter bag. All parts are completely clean on the inside, and show only light, superficial signs of wear. Only the cream jug, upon close inspection, has a small, unobtrusive dent.
The creamer and the sugar bowl still show a light gilding on the inside.

Weight information:

Tray 730 g
Teapot 600 g
Coffee pot 530 g
Sugar pot 195 g
Creamer 140 g

The service is insured and well packaged for shipping.

Thank you very much for your interest!
