Mid-20th-century metal display cabinet on wheels with brass fittings, measuring about 100 cm high, 75 cm wide and 40 cm deep, in an elegant style.
Description from the seller
Elegant wheeled display cabinet, made of wood with a brass structure and finishes. The body features four inclined internal shelves, subdivided into channels, intended for displaying cigars, each accompanied by original slats indicating the countries of origin (Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Romania, Russia).
The upper surface is surmounted by a stone slab (probably marble) with a brass perimeter railing. The base is fitted with original wheels, which facilitate its movement, confirming its suitability for commercial or representative settings such as tobacco shops, hotels, clubs, or smoking rooms.
European artisanal craftsmanship, most likely Italian, dating from 1945–1955. An object of great decorative and collectible appeal, testimony to postwar luxury commercial furnishings.
Dimensions: approx. 100 × 80 × 45 cm
Condition: good, with normal signs of wear and aging.
