Limoges / Lavit - Tea cup set (9) - Porcelain, Gold

Elegant set of 4 large Limoges porcelain teacups, signed by the art decorator, J.Lavit.

Large and deep for tea or chocolate, they come with their saucers and a two-tiered stand for petit fours.

A fine porcelain, of a brilliant white, adorned with a wide border with a pattern of arabesques gilded with fine gold applied in double inlay of gold, polished with agate.

A set of great finesse and delicacy.

The cups are in excellent condition, almost like new. The lower plate of the serving dish has a slight crack at the point where the plug is attached (see photos #20 & 21).

The set consists of 9 pieces:
- 4 Large cups, 12.2 cm diameter, 6 cm high
- 4 Large saucers, 17.4 cm diameter, 1.5 cm high
- 1 Serving stand, 28 cm high / High plate, 16 cm diameter / Low plate, 19 cm diameter
