Electric Dreams is an artistic duo, both born in the 80s, at the dawn of the digital age that would shake their imagination. Their trajectories are marked by the search for the elsewhere, by an insatiable thirst for travel and discovery. Marc grew up on an island swept by winds and sea, where the horizon seemed to promise infinite elsewhere. After studying sociology, he set off, traveling the world to feed his curiosity and broaden his perspectives. After spending a long time drawing all over the world, he returned to France during the COVID pandemic. As he navigates a difficult professional period, he discovers artificial intelligence, which soon becomes his new field of experimentation. Caroline evolved into the world of art and imagery. After artistic studies and the start of her career as a photography assistant, she becomes art director of a magazine, while nurturing a consuming passion for photography. Her travels also brought her to the edges of distant landscapes, where she spent time capturing numerous images. The discovery of artificial intelligence is an additional tool she adds to her work. Their paths cross and their artistic alchemy blossoms under the name Electric Dreams, in reference to Philip K. Dick's novel and to a film from the 1980s. Together, they revisit and reinvent the stories of their wanderings, distorting the images gathered here and there to shape hybrid visions, the crossroads between reality and imagination, between nature and technology.
