Sails in the Blue — thick tempera on canvas, 60x70 cm. Antonio Civitarese, 2026
Antonio Civitarese (1957), Architect and Painter, was born in Abruzzo, where he lives and works. In 1977/78, he began his painting research. In 1981, he worked in Australia, creating works with local natural colors, earths, and oxides. He has exhibited his works in solo and group shows in Italian and international cities (France, Germany, Greece, Monte Carlo, Spain, Egypt...). His works appear in many public and private collections. He has participated in fairs, national and international competitions, and collective painting exhibitions, earning numerous important recognitions from critics and art experts.
