Very beautiful and decorative side table / pedestal / plant stand. The pedestal is 59 cm high and the top has a diameter of 23.5 cm. The weight is a little over 3 kg. The pedestal probably dates from the 1930s of the last century (it may be slightly newer).
The pedestal is executed in a subtle and elegant way and is clearly inspired by the Art Deco movement. It consists of a beautifully turned column, which is fairly simple, with the ridges on the edge of the top surface and at the bottom of the stem giving a very chic appearance (see photos). The wood used is oak. The table/pedestal is very elegant and of good quality.
