Description from the seller
Bubble Tree Bubble
An artwork that embodies the fusion of engineering precision and artistic expression, “Bubble Tree Bubble” is a sculpture that catches the eye and sparks reflection. Created by the Perugian artist Luke Leroy, as well as the seller of this account, this fascinating sculpture stands 51 cm tall, demonstrating an immediate presence and, at the same time, an ethereal one.
The work is made entirely of steel, using spheres and bearings as building blocks. The choice of these industrial materials and their arrangement creates a striking contrast: objects usually hidden inside machinery and designed for functionality take on a new life as elements of pure aesthetics.
The abstract industrial style is evident in the composition. The structure evokes the shape of a tree or a stylized figure, the "bubbles" (ball bearings) seem to float lightly, defying the density of the metal. The shine of the steel emphasizes the curves and joints, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow that changes with perspective.
What stands out about "Bubble Tree Bubble" is the balance of the composition. Each component is placed with care, creating a visual harmony that transcends the raw nature of the materials. It’s a piece that not only furnishes a space but tells a story of transformation, creative recycling, and the beauty that can be found even in the most unexpected parts of the mechanical world.
One of a kind. The artist's signature is located on the underside of the base, applied with a marker, together with the 1/1 numbering.
