AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Attention

It is a genuine original painting, not AI, not print.

Triptych XXXL composed of three panels, each measuring 80/60 cm, suitable for both portrait and landscape display - NO RESERVE.

PopLéa is much more than an artist's name — it is a carefully preserved pseudonym behind which hides a major personality of the international art scene, multiple award-winner and exhibitor at the most prestigious fairs worldwide.
Under this name, the artist chooses freedom and anonymity to return to the essentials: pure emotion, the direct relationship between the work and the one who contemplates it.
Connoisseurs already know that some works signed with his real name reach record prices in galleries, exceeding €15,000, and are part of private collections in Paris, London, New York, Monaco, and Dubai.
Winner of several international awards for the excellence and uniqueness of their approach, they have been recognized in Florence, Barcelona, Geneva, and New York for their contribution to contemporary art.
Her works have been exhibited in group shows alongside world-renowned artists at events such as FIAC (Paris), Art Basel (Switzerland), ARCO (Madrid), Art Miami, and Art Shanghai.
PopLéa deliberately cultivates mystery: no public photos, no official interviews, only works that circulate discreetly among discerning collectors and selective galleries. This media silence has only heightened the interest of contemporary art enthusiasts seeking authenticity and rarity.
Each PopLéa work is unique, certified, and comes directly from the artist's workshop.
It has never been exhibited or offered in a gallery before being put up for sale.
Some pieces from this series have already been acquired by collectors in Switzerland, France and the United States, confirming PopLéa’s rapid rise in the international art market.

DESCRIPTION
Triptyque Soulage Lumen is a monumental work inspired by the philosophy of Pierre Soulages, where black is no longer a color but a living matter, revealing light.
Made up of three architectural panels, this triptych explores the vibration of black through the layering of textures, strata, and vertical rhythms. The surface, worked in relief, captures and reflects light depending on the viewing angle, creating a subtle kinetic work that transforms throughout the day.
Each panel acts like a visual breath.
The first absorbs light.
- the second the structure,
The third restores it.
The ensemble creates a sculptural wall presence, blurring the lines between painting, architecture, and material.

HOW TO FRAME:

The painting is sold unframed (just for presentation) mounted on a wooden stretcher and I recommend a floater frame.

The artist Popléa:
If you are in possession of this work, you have in your hands an authentic piece signed Popléa.
But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym.
He or she has not yet revealed his or her identity—voluntarily. This choice is part of a larger artistic project, a form of experiment:
Create without a name, without status, without a biography.
The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel.
The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, and collected—but wanted to explore another, freer path. Rejecting filters, codes, and discourses.
Refuse to allow the same people – galleries, experts, networks – to always decide what has value.
Maybe what you have is the beginning of something.
Or maybe it's simply a work that speaks to you, here and now.
Both options are beautiful.
And deep down, perhaps that is true luxury.

The work is accompanied by a paper certificate of authenticity including some of the artist's hairs to prove his DNA.

The work is signed by hand, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insurance included.
Happy bidding!
