Description from the seller
Vintage Seiko Emblem Quartz Watch (1975) - Caliber 4120-8010 - Made in Japan
I am putting up for sale this historic specimen of Japanese watchmaking: a quartz Seiko Emblem, manufactured in November 1975. This model belongs to an era when quartz was a luxury technology and superior precision.
Specifications:
Brand: Seiko
Model: Emblem
Cash reference: 8010
Caliber: 4120 (high-quality quartz movement, pioneer of the brand).
Serial Number: 5N1693 (Manufactured at the legendary Daini Seikosha plant, Japan).
Material: Stainless Steel.
Lid detail: Original engraving with a 'Sunburst' pattern (sun rays).
Condition of the part
The back cover retains its sharp and legible engravings.
It shows normal signs of wear for a watch over 45 years old, which gives it an authentic vintage character.
The watch has been serviced and works perfectly; it is completely original, and it includes 2 bracelets: the original metal one and an aftermarket beige-colored one.
Please review the photos to see the marks and scratches, especially one at the bottom of the dial that doesn’t affect readability. These are typical marks for a vintage watch and overall in good condition.
It is an ideal piece for collectors of the "Quartz Era". At its year of release, these models carried a high price (approx. 44,000 yen), about 995 euros, positioning them as mid-to-high-end watches due to their reliability and elegant design.
