Artist XTC, Mc KGB white 19cm, a hand-signed resin sculpture with brass and PMMA elements, edition 2/8, dated 2025, measuring 19 cm high, 19 cm wide and 16 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Exceptional sculpture by XTC Artist:
Grand cone of Mc KGB White and Red:
It measures 19cm in height, weighs approximately 2kg, and is mounted on a plexiglass (PMMA) base measuring 19 x 16 cm with a thickness of 10mm. Designed and crafted in resin molded in my workshop, it is painted in intense white and red. Protected under a varnish and filled with real empty shells. Signed and numbered on the back of the base.
This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 EA.
Probably XTC's most iconic work to date, in red and gold version.
Dismantling a McDonald's cone, a future luxurious dish in fast-food style?
Signed and numbered on the base, Certificate (COA) provided.
The sample sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion, which was destined to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and from advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
