XTC’s Caviar x Chanel white, a 2026 hand-signed, edition 7/8 sculpture in acier, plastique and papier, 19 cm wide, 10 cm high and 16 cm deep, finished on a black 10 mm plexiglass stand, in excellent condition and originating from France with a COA provided.
Description from the seller
Caviar box and torn Chanel label in trompe l'oeil by XTC.
This is a genuine 1000g caviar box (it has been used and therefore shows some normal signs of wear), painted (not a sticker), varnished, and of course, fake caviar!
The artwork is presented on a black, 10 mm thick plexiglass base for a glossy, flawless finish.
Signed and numbered 8 + 4EA on the base, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The sample sent is not necessarily the one shown in the photo.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the center of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular culture, which he makes clash with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes minerals.
