Wall sconce (2) - Bronze

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to submit for your consideration a pair of decorative wall sconces, intended for possible inclusion in a Catawiki auction.

The sconces feature metal structures combined with ceramic elements, designed in a neoclassical revival / historicist style, inspired by traditional models. They show natural wear, patina and minor imperfections consistent with age and use, and remain visually attractive and structurally stable.

For safety reasons, the original electrical wiring has been removed.
The sconces are therefore offered as decorative wall lights, and any future buyer wishing to use them as functional lighting will need to install new wiring according to current safety standards.

Period: First half of the 20th century (circa 1920–1940)
Style: Inspired by antique / neoclassical revival
Dimensions (each): Approx. 42 cm high x 34 cm wide
Weight: Approx. 3 kg each
