Description from the seller
Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses, model 1962.
An iconic collectible luxury eyewear model, numbered 89/250, handmade in Japan.
The 1962 model is inspired by the glasses worn by Dennis Hopper in a famous self-portrait titled "Self Portrait at a Porn Stand, 1962".
The design reinterprets the classic teardrop aviator shape in a modern key, with a bold architecture that balances titanium's minimalism with the addition of a distinctive top bar in acetate.
The result is a look that evokes rebellious, intellectual elegance, perfect for the discerning collector.
The entire main frame, including the temples and nose pads, is made from beta titanium, a material known for its exceptional lightness, flexibility, and durability. The top bar, which adds a unique visual contrast, is made of high-quality cellulose acetate.
Here offered in Gold Green Havana color.
Like new, used very few times; I part with it reluctantly.
