18K gold-mounted jadeite jade pendant Guanyin- 20th Century
On offer is a very fine “moss in ice” jadeite jade Guanyin figurine pendant, mounted in 18K marked 750/1000 fine gold, marked at the bail (see photo). This older pendant has a nice massive 18K golden mount, surrounding the whole pendant. Estimated gold weight: 2 gram. Hard to find ! Provenance: from the estate of a deceased former collector of small jades in the Netherlands.
The carved stone, set in 18K gold, has been identified as jadeite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Please see test results and pictures.

*Dating: early 20th Century.
*Size (approx.): total length including bail: 37 mm * 22,5 mm (width) * 5,0 mm (thick).
*Condition: Good used uncleaned condition, with no damages.
