ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork captures love in its purest and most vulnerable form — not as romance, but as a gesture learned, observed, and transmitted.
Two children stand in a raw, urban environment. One watches in silence. The other paints a heart on the wall — a simple, imperfect symbol, dripping, fragile, alive. The heart is not polished or idealized; it is spontaneous, almost naïve. And that is precisely where its strength lies.
The contrast between the grayscale figures and the vibrant orange heart emphasizes the emotional rupture: love appears as an act of resistance in a world stripped of warmth. It is not decorative. It is intentional.
This piece speaks of learning love by example. Of innocence confronting a harsh environment. Of the idea that affection is not inherited automatically — it is created, one gesture at a time.
Saint Valentin is not about lovers.
It is about the moment when love is first understood.
About the artist
I am a French stencil artist whose work explores the tension between instinct and control, childhood and adulthood, fragility and strength. My practice combines instinctive, textured backgrounds with meticulously hand-cut multi-layer stencils.
I have exhibited alongside major figures of the urban art scene such as L’Atlas, C215, Carole B, Wawapod, and Jo Di Bona at the SPERA ART FAIR.
My work has been collected across Europe, with more than 300 artworks sold internationally.
I also create live painting performances for institutions and brands, including Disneyland Paris.
Each artwork is an original piece. While stencils may be reused, every background is created instinctively, ensuring that no two works are ever identical. My work often revolves around childhood, symbolism, and contemporary myths, inviting viewers to reconnect with essential emotions through a street art language.
