Oil painting on panel framed in a gilded frame with an inner mat, depicting a still life with plaster busts, ceramic vases on a table, paintings hanging and a vivid red drapery on the left, unsigned. The work appears to be a study or painting exercise, perhaps by an unknown artist of the nineteenth or twentieth century post-impressionist era. The subject combines classical elements (the busts) with everyday objects (drapery, vases), typical of genre painting and still life. No search results were found that exactly match the image, making attribution or valuation difficult. It could be attributed to the painter G. Barbon. A Veneto painter of the nineteenth century.
