Painted in oil and acrylic on canvas (100 x 140 cm), Anthony is an erotic painting about surrender. There is heat in the way he is caught: head thrown back, mouth parted, the smallest trace at the lips turning the moment from portrait into confession. It’s sensual, but not performative. The painting stays controlled: nothing is given away for free, and that restraint is exactly what makes it erotic.
