Sandra Chinelate presents the original oil painting titled "Vero" (2025) on board, 40 × 30 cm, a portrait, hand-signed, with certificate of authenticity, sold directly by the artist from Italy, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Oil on panel, 30 x 40 cm, signed bottom right, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This work, which depicts a girl covering part of her face, features the play of light and shadow and its strong materiality. Executed with spatulas loaded with color, it also presents a technique of overlapping glazes that gives the piece a mix of delicacy and visual power, a duality often present in the painterly aesthetics of Sandra Chinelate.
The painter, Brazilian, engages in physical and existential inquiry conducted with the tools of figurative painting. A graduate in literature, and from a young age a self-taught artist, she moves to Italy and, influenced by her multiple sociolinguistic gaze, conducts her artistic research with the aim of promoting an encounter among the different social subjects, where the different ages, skin colors, passions and human uncertainties are contemplated starting from a strong desire on the part of the artist to exalt their facets, safeguarding her characters from any prejudice. Since 2006 she has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions. She works with oil and mixed media on canvas and on panel.
