Description from the seller
Title: Viriditas Aura
Artist: Daniel De Faveri
Technique: Acrylics on canvas
Dimensions: 120 x 200 cm
Year: 2026
Viriditas Aurea is conceived as a single work spanning two joined canvases, a dialogue rather than a division. The diptych expands horizontally, inviting the viewer into a continuous field of energy, where movement, depth, and light flow seamlessly.
For the artist, green becomes a living force: a symbol of hope, freshness, and renewal, but also of joy, new beginnings, and good fortune. It is not a passive color, but an active presence; it pulsates, spreads, and reshapes the surrounding space. Layers of material, subtle textures, and organic transitions generate a sense of ongoing growth, as if the work itself were continually evolving.
The diptych format reinforces this idea of expansion and abundance: two surfaces united to amplify meaning, balance, and momentum. Viriditas Aurea embodies a moment of openness and prosperity, a visual affirmation of change, vitality, and the courage to step into something new.
Note about the artist:
Daniel De Faveri is an Italian artist with a background in fashion and luxury, sectors that have profoundly influenced his visual approach, material sensitivity, and sense of composition. After training in art and years of international experience between London and Italy, he has developed a painting practice that combines chromatic power, layering, and a strong and recognizable contemporary aesthetic.
Her research focuses on color as an emotional and symbolic energy, capable of representing inner states, transformations, and moments of transition. Her works do not describe, but evoke: they are spaces of tension and openness, where matter and light interact to create intense and immersive perceptual fields.
In 2025 he exhibited at Arrival Gallery, a digital gallery based in London, and participated in the Venice Art Fair in Venice with a physical exhibition, marking an important step in his journey towards an international artistic dimension.
Viriditas Aurea fits into this phase of maturity, representing a synthesis of personal experience, aesthetic vision and desire for expansion: a work that speaks of growth, fortune and possibility, without nostalgia, but with a firm gaze towards the future.
