Description
Swiss pocket watch from the late 19th century, signed L.U.C (Louis-Ulysse Chopard), in good condition and in working order.
0.800 silver case with gold details, approximate diameter 35 mm (excluding crown). Original enamel dial with Breguet numerals and a seconds hand at six o’clock. Original gold hands.
Mechanical movement of medium-high quality for its time, with the following characteristics engraved:
Escape anchor
15 rubies
Visible rises – double deck
Compensated balance
Spiral Breguet
The inside cover contains the commemorative inscriptions of international awards:
Geneva Gold Medal 1896
Grand Prix of Paris 1900
The watch is functioning correctly at the time of description (not timed to modern precision).
It shows a patina and normal signs of use appropriate to its age, with no visible aggressive restorations. It has not been polished in order to preserve its original condition.
