Pende dolls made of wood and straw. The tallest one with a round face is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos. It is 29 cm tall, base approx. 11 x 7 cm. The other one with a smaller head and also smaller in stature is a little damaged on the knees and head: it is 26 cm tall, base approx. 7 x 7 cm. They weigh approximately 100 g each. Origin: Congo, datable between 1960 and 1980 approx.
