An extensive set of the Asterix softcover albums Nos. 11–30 from 1972 to 1996 is offered, supplemented by the “Large Asterix Lexicon” (1986).
The issues mainly come from Ehapa Verlag, complemented by some early Delta license editions that appeared in parallel in the 1970s and 1980s.
The condition of the collection is good to very good for its age (see photos). The issues have been handled with care and offer a clean, collector-friendly overall impression.
A piece of comic history – the Asterix era after 1970
Following the great success of the first ten volumes, the triumphant march of the indomitable Gauls continued unimpeded in the 1970s and 1980s.
Asterix became an international phenomenon – and the issues from this period reflect the creative peak of Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny.
Many of the now-iconic adventures – from the “Satellite City” to the “Odyssey” – originate from exactly this era.
The attached Asterix Lexicon (1986) also offers an exciting insight into characters, places and background of the series.
