Centrepiece - Enamelled porcelain - Late Art Deco

Exceptional bronze and enameled porcelain centerpiece, crafted in the 1940s–1950s, from a private collection in Central Europe.

The piece rests on a solid bronze base richly ornamented with vegetal and architectural motifs. The most captivating aspect of its design are the two side handles, cast with figures of angels or cherubs with wings that seem to emerge from the volutes, lending the whole a celestial and regal air.

The central body is a high-quality porcelain piece with a two-tone glazed finish. On the exterior, a deep brick-red tone with graduated nuances. And on the interior, a soft cream-beige finish that highlights the purity of the scalloped shape of the bowl.

Dimensions: 40 cm wide, 19 cm deep and 22 cm high.
