Auguste LUMIERE - autographed inscription - book, 8vo. Hardcover - 1935


Auguste Lumière, born October 19, 1862, in Besançon and died April 10, 1954, in Lyon, was a pioneer of cinema. Together with his brother Louis, he invented the cinematograph, a major advance in the film industry. They organized the first paid public screening of films on December 28, 1895, in Paris.
