AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Big massive Muong Nong Tektite.

unusual Muong Nong Tektite with nearly zero layering.

Some recent chips, but verry few for Muong Nong Tektites.

1475 g 125 x 105 x 98 mm

Muong Nong tektites or layered tektite glass is just found in the Indochinite strewnfield. Based on the spatial distribution of Muong Nong-type tektite sites and the chemical characteristics of the objects, the source region is in a limited area near the Thailand / Laos border. The geographic variation of 10Be contents in Australasian tektites may also provide clues to the location of the source crater.

Muong Nong Tektites are much more bubbly and much less homogeneous than splash form glass while still being chemically similar to that of the aerodynamically formed specimens

As typical for Muong Nong Tektite, some ancient and some recent chips
