IKON is a contemporary digital artist whose research focuses on the evolution of the image in the technological era. His work explores the relationship between cultural symbols, visual memory, and digital language, reworking iconographic references through a contemporary perspective.
Her artistic path began in graphics and visual communication, where she developed technical skills and a strong attention to structure, color, and composition. Over time, the project-focused interest evolved into autonomous research, aimed at building a personal language entirely developed in a digital environment. IKON's practice combines:
Graphic/photo manipulation, digital collage, pattern generation, visual distortions, digital painting, digital remix, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, used as genuine artistic tools.
The works of IKON fit into the contemporary visual landscape as reflections on the transformation of the image in the digital age, where tradition and modernity meet and redefine themselves.
In recent years she has participated in exhibition and collective projects dedicated to new media art and digital experimentation, consolidating an international presence across Europe, Asia, and North America.
2021 – Digital Narrative Spaces, Rotterdam, Netherlands
2022 – Contemporary Media Layers, Lisbon, Portugal
