Banksy (1974) - Difaced Tenner

This is a satirical art banknote, known as the 'Di-Faced Tenner,' created by the anonymous street artist Banksy in 2004.
It replaces the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with that of the late Princess Diana.
Instead of 'Bank of England,' the sign at the top reads 'Banksy of England.'
I promise to pay the bearer on demand the ultimate price
"Di-faced" is a pun on "defaced" and "Di" (Diana's nickname).
Banksy printed about one million pounds in these banknotes and distributed them in public places like the Notting Hill Carnival and the Reading Festival in 2004, as a form of social commentary on money and consumerism.
