A special and rare double-sided work by Jan Sluijters, executed in pastel and
Charcoal on paper, with an expressive figure study on both sides.

On one side, a reclining nude is depicted in bold lines and subtle
color accents, on the other side a seated female figure, elaborated with strong
volume editing and a delicate play of light and shadow. Both sides show Sluijters’
exceptional mastery of form, anatomy, and expression.
