Description from the seller
Josef Gera – FUSION I
Acrylic painting - Hand-signed - 2025
Fusion I shows a concentrated, energetic compaction at the center of a deep blue surface. The composition rests on a dynamic interplay between controlled gesture and spontaneous color dynamics.
The ground – a multilayered modulated blue – creates an atmospheric depth that recalls cosmic vastness or microscopic structures. On it unfolds a complex lattice of linear motions, droplets, splashes, and color fields in white, yellow, red, green, and black.
The central compression appears as a pulsating organism or an energetic constellation. Despite the apparent randomness, the work follows a clear inner order: balance between density and emptiness, motion and stillness, control and letting go.
The white shadow gap frame enhances the spatial effect and separates the color intensity from the surrounding space.

In my work I am interested in the moment when movement becomes form. Color, for me, is not an image but an event that unfolds in space, concentrates, and then dissolves again. In the disorder of chance lies the possibility of the unexpectedly beautiful; precisely in this tension between control and letting go do my pictures arise."
