AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Here is a stunning bone china and silver plated biscuit barrel made by Royal Crown Derby in the 19th century, likely 1850's. The piece is hand-painted with Imari-inspired designs, known as "Gaudy Welsh." These types of pieces were made to store biscuits, but I think it would be lovely for tea leaves, sugar, cookies, etc. Marked on the bottom and EPNS marked on the side, as shown. In great condition.
