Baccarat - Bottle (2) - S. 1089 - Crystal

Two mouth-blown, transparent crystal port bottles with engraved decorations, produced by Baccarat. They are found in the 1903/1904 edition catalog of Baccarat, from the first decade of the 20th century, unsigned. Pre-1936. The catalog shows a wide range of styles and designs from this famous and iconic maker of crystal articles. There is an introduction of pages with text in French, followed by 154 plates with illustrations of goods for sale in the various designs. The text in the image shows the drawing of these two glass bottles, plate 96, page 180, with the inscription "S. 1089", referring to the patent or registered design. Decoration: It features an acid-etched decoration with floral garlands and a bow motif. On the base and on the stopper there is the bottle’s identification number. Measure: height 21.2 x diameter 8.3 cm.
