In this painting with a textured, material-based surface, the artist drew many colored bands that open up into space like bursts of color. The red recalls the color of amarena cherries, together with the blue of sparkling water and the bubbles of Prosecco with ice... a good Amarena cocktail!!

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
