Two identical silver-plated tea caddies with matching tea spoon, designed for Douwe Egberts by Herbert Hooijkaas and manufactured by the H. Hooijkaas silver factory in Schoonhoven, dating from the 1950s–1960s, each about 10 cm tall, 8 cm in diameter and weighing around 200 g.

Beautiful heavily silver-plated identical tea canister and teaspoon, or two inches in the same style. The tea canister is for
Douwe Egberts designed by Herbert Hooijkaas and manufactured in his silver factory H. Hooijkaas.
The bus dates from the 1960s.
The tea tin weighs about 200 g, is 10 cm tall, and has a diameter of 8 cm.

The 1950s and 1960s were a period of growth. In this period, the coffee and tea producer Douwe Egberts was a major customer.
For Douwe Egberts, among other things, the famous silver-plated teaspoon, tea canisters, spoon vases, cream set and tea sieves were produced. This tea canister is an original piece from the silver factory H. Hooijkaas and is thus increasingly sought after as a collectible. The unknown tea, a thumb-sized spoon, fits nicely with this whole.
