Daniele Guidi - CONNESSIONI

Today I want to tell you about a work that was born in a completely casual way. Simply letting go.

Perhaps you don’t know it, but what I paint is inspired by my long walks in nature where the body, the breath and the sequence of steps connect to the landscape and to the vision of what surrounds you.

They aren’t real visions. But imperfect memories, painted imperfectly, as imperfect and full of nuances is memory.

I call this process Paintfulness Art: a pictorial, material and gestural approach, conceptually inspired by the idea of the “Here and Now.”

"Connessioni" emerged from pure instinct, the fruit of these moments. A playful “walk” of colors and different techniques, where acrylics connected with plaster, markers and oil pastels.

And so, layer after layer, the painting took shape toward something I hadn’t foreseen. Just as you can’t predict what you will see and feel during the journey.

Every interweaving of color, every texture and every shade reveal and hide stories inside each layer. What do the colors communicate to you? I invite you to lose yourself in the details and discover your personal meaning within the chaos.

The painterly surface becomes, in fact, a tangible and temporal space, where the stratification of colors and textures reflects memory, presence and anticipation.

Through Paintfulness, the act of walking transforms into a creative act. And works are born that invite you to slow down and inhabit your own spaces with the same emotions you feel in nature.

CHARACTERISTICS:
“Connessioni” is an acrylic and multi-material painting on canvas, 60x40x4 cm.

It will arrive mounted on a 4 cm high frame with the edges painted, so you can hang it immediately. Or you can further embellish it with a frame of your choice.

CLEANING:
The work is finished with a protective varnish to preserve it over time.
From time to time you can clean it with a dry cloth or a slightly damp one.
A feather duster or a long, soft brush is excellent. Do not use detergents or other aggressive cleaners.

ARTISTIC CONTENT:
“Connessioni” is an original, hand-painted work in a unique copy and is part of the body of work “Cromanticismo.”
It is signed on the back by hand and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.

I have included photos with indicative settings so you can get an idea of how and where to place it.
Proportions in some cases may be distorted by digital adaptation.
To complete the presentation you will also find some close-up photos that give you a more precise view of the various “connessioni” that animate the painting.

Obviously for technical reasons, the color may differ from the original due to the different calibration of smartphone or PC screens.

I ship only to Italy and the EU via a Catawiki courier, with insured shipping.
Unfortunately, the heavy Italian bureaucratic obligations make shipping to non-EU countries complex and very costly.
