Description from the seller

Fascinating Martini Torino advertising poster – Martini & Rossi, iconic female image in a yellow-orange dress savoring vermouth, set against an intense red background. A high-impact graphic, elegant and sensual, typical of the great Italian advertising tradition of the first half of the twentieth century.

Dimensions 100 x 70 cm

This is a second edition dating from around 1950, printed in lithography rather than offset, an aspect that makes it decidedly rarer and more collectible than the common later reprints. The color quality, depth of tones, and the tactile quality of the ink are fully consistent with the original lithographic technique.

Large-format poster, ideal for collectors of historical advertising graphics, Martini vermouth, Italian design and vintage posters.

Overall in good condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with age (folds, slight waviness and small traces of edge wear), without compromising the overall visual impact. An authentic object with a strong decorative presence.

Rare opportunity to acquire a Martini lithographic poster from the 1950s, much harder to find than the later offset editions.
