Numbers of Things, A Book for Little Girls, written and drawn by Lilian Price Hacker. The book is a vintage, first-edition children's counting book.
Condition:
A rare, Hardback book in a fairly good condition for the age. Circa 1925, presumed first edition.
Spine has become exposed, general wear and discolouration with bumped spine ends, corners.
All gilt-edged.
A book for children with charming verses and stunning watercolor artwork on every glossy page. Ten numbers, ten poems. Illustrated endpapers. small tear to a couple of pages.
Dimension: 28.0 x 23.0 cm. 45 pages.
Better known as a painter than illustrator, Lilian Price Hacker Hacker exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy from 1909 to 1924 and married the academician Arthur Hacker in 1907.
