Description from the seller

Luna Orbit illustrates the Moon's orbital path in a distinctive way.

This photograph was taken with a handmade pinhole camera during a continuous 8-hour night exposure. The pinhole technique uses a tiny hole instead of a lens, representing the most essential form of photography: the light projected through this hole has directly exposed a 24 × 30.5 cm sheet of photographic paper, recording the Moon's orbital movement.
The original negative was developed and then used to create a larger digital negative. This digital negative was finally contact-printed in a traditional darkroom to achieve the final dimensions of the work.
The result is a physical proof of Earth's rotation and the lunar journey, which preserves the original scale and brightness of the celestial event. The work includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Dimensions:

Image: 49x43 cm
Letter: 50.5 x 39 cm
With mat: 60x45 cm
