Porcelain charger from the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911), circa 1900, 34.5 cm wide, titled Large Chinese charger.
Description from the seller
Large Chinese charger – ca. 1900 – 34.5 cm – Qing
Very large and decorative Chinese porcelain charger painted in the famille verte and iron red palette, richly decorated with lotus and floral motifs in iron-red, green and pink enamels. The centre features an auspicious medallion with traditional symbolic elements.
Dating circa 1900 (late 19th – early 20th century, transitional period from Qing dynasty to the Republic period). The impressive size of 34.5 cm is exceptional for this type of dish and makes it a strong decorative statement piece, suitable for wall display or interior presentation.
Condition:
In good condition considering its age, with minor signs of wear and age-related traces consistent with a piece from around 1900 (see photos). No obvious restorations observed.
Shipping disclaimer United States:
We do ship to the United States (unlike many sellers), however international shipping is entirely at the buyer’s risk. The item will be packed professionally and with great care, but any damage or loss during international transport is the responsibility of the buyer. By bidding from the US, the buyer agrees to these shipping terms.
