Complete collection. Bi-monthly, but from September 28, this journal became weekly -
Collection of 21 journals of 16 pages - Twelve pages of engravings per issue in colored sections - First Year, No. 1 from June 4, 1869 to No. 21 and the last from January 9 to 16, 1870 -
Excerpt from the Preface: 'He who writes these lines has imposed upon himself a Function: Laughter, a grave thing. To make others laugh, an even gravER thing: Mission, Mission, Function, that is all. Or there. The where there, zipline. Let’s move on. etc.'
Appears in the header of the Parody: "This amusing and eminently fanciful sheet reproduces at length the event of the day, the play or the novel in vogue, the salon, current events"
