Estimated period 1940–1950; poker set in a wooden or wood-pulp case with a black leather handle, containing Bakelite resin chips in three diameters (3 cm, 2.5 cm and 2 cm) and compartments for two decks of cards.
Description from the seller
Old, elegant poker chip set in a wooden or composition-wood case, with a black leather handle secured with brass tacks. Probably from the mid-20th century.
It contains chips (or "chips") of various diameters and colors (red, yellow, blue, green and white) made of resin (bakelite). On the sides there are compartments to store two decks of cards.
Set dimensions: 26 x 13 x 7 cm
Chip dimensions in 3 sizes: 3 cm, 2.5 cm and 2 cm in diameter.
Condition: good, intact in all its parts, with some small signs of wear, the handle a bit damaged but intact, the fiches perfect. Old adhesive tape was applied to two sides to block the fiches, so once removed the part should be cleaned of the glue which inevitably remains a bit tacky. There are remnants of adhesive on one side. Please look at all the photographs as they are an integral part of the description.
