Original acrylic painting by B. Morales titled 'Carnaval de Venecia II' - XL, created in 2025, hand-signed, in excellent condition, 100 x 80 cm and 1 kg, from Spain, sold directly by the artist, part of the Arquitecturas Naturales series with a contemporary, nature-inspired theme and colors including blue, yellow, orange, black, brown, cream and white.
Description from the seller
"Carnaval de Venecia II" evokes the spirit of movement, mystery, and celebration through an architecture of curved shapes and golden lines. The color planes intertwine like layers of a costume: they appear, hide, and reveal themselves again in a play of rhythms and contrasts.
The work suggests masks, fabrics and gestures in full dance, where geometry becomes fluid and elegance arises from the balance between chromatic intensity and formal restraint.
It is a homage to ephemeral beauty, to the splendor of the moment, and to the theatricality of what is visible, transformed here into an abstract, vibrant, and deeply ornamental language.
This work is part of the series "Natural Architectures," where the artist explores the geometric and emotional abstraction of the plant world from a perspective influenced by the Art Deco aesthetic.
B. Morales is a visual artist graduated in Havana, Cuba. Her work explores the connection between patterns in nature and modernity, this time inspired by the style and elegance of Art Déco. She has developed her artistic practice in various international contexts, and her work is part of important private collections in Europe and America...
