Cor Schaap (1968) - Strandgezicht

Impressionist Cor Schaap grew up in a fishing family and has felt from a young age a deep connection to the coast. This natural bond forms an inexhaustible source of inspiration and is central to his impressionist oil paintings. Schaap works both en plein air and in his seaside studio.

His ongoing challenge is to give each work its own, original character, in which his personal artistic touch plays a determining role. His paintings are now part of the collections of renowned galleries, including Galerie Gabriëls in The Hague, which since 1974 has been an established name in the art world.
