Original Stand
Description
Authentic 19th century Dutch tailor’s mannequin, manufactured according to a patented design dated 1871 and bearing its original red factory stamp underneath the torso.
The circular stamp references:
“Patent – ’s-Gravenhage – 1871”
indicating production by a Hague-based manufacturer and linking the piece to a registered late-19th-century model.
This is not a later decorative reproduction, but a genuine atelier working mannequin from the period.
