Description from the seller
Ladies Entertaining Themselves
Part of a series about period dramas.
This particular work is based on a frame from Sofia Coppola's film “Marie Antoinette,” in which the Queen of France takes tea with her friends in a salon at Versailles. It is painted in a slightly blurry, almost out-of-focus manner, a figurative, realistic yet dreamlike depiction where nothing is the same as a second ago; everything flows and transforms.

About Me
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer. It was here that I began my artistic career, which over time has become my profession, my passion, and above all, a vital necessity.
I have held solo and group exhibitions in various European cities, and my works are part of private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my central theme is water and fish, but I also explore plants and the human figure. Everything that moves and beats with life is of interest to my art.
