Glenfarclas 25 years old - 70cl

An exceptional, multi-award-winning Speyside Single Malt. In 1865, Glenfarclas distillery was purchased by cattle breeder John Grant and today Grant family ownership is still carrying on strong under the fifth generation. For this 25 Year Old Whisky, malted barley is distilled twice using traditional direct-fired copper stills, then the finest liquid is collected to mature in Oloroso sherry and plain oak casks to age for many years. Delicate peat-ed aromas are complex yet refined, with marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry and nut notes. Flavours are full-bodied and robust, with sherry and oak character and a powerful nutty smokiness. On the finish, a dark Belgian chocolate hit completes the sublime drinking experience.
